Little Peas is a Pediatric Therapy clinic located in Beaverton, Oregon. We are looking to add a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to our growing team!

We believe that parents and caregivers are an integral part of the therapy process. Each therapy plan includes education and training so families can facilitate progress towards goals at home beyond the therapy session.

Our Mission:
To provide effective, family-centered therapy services to children, in order to help them grow and achieve functional goals.

Little Peas Speech & Occupational Therapy is looking for a passionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our energetic and growing team!

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients  physical, psychological, and social needs related to their occupational performance
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients  goals and maximize their functional independence
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and speech therapists, to coordinate patient care
  • Monitor patients  progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance their daily activities
  • Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with professional standards and facility policies
Requirements

Educational

Qualifications:

Master s degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OTD)

Completion of an accredited occupational therapy program

Licensure and Certification:

Oregon State licensure to practice as an occupational therapist

Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Experience:

Clinical experience in pediatric settings, such as schools, hospitals, or clinics

Internships or fieldwork focused on pediatric populations
