Primary FunctionWorks under the supervision of the Radiology Manager. Performs independently using judgment and initiative to meet department demand. Performs screening and diagnostic mammographic examinations according to established radiologic standards and procedures following federal regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)- Mammographic equipment
- PACS, Epic and Teleradiology Portal software
- Basic Office Equipment such as computer, telephone, etc
- Completion of Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT Certification in Mammography and Radiography
- Oregon licensure in Mammography
- Meet and maintain continuing education and experience MQSA requirements in Mammography.
- Knowledge of MQSA/FDA QA/QC requirements
- CPR Certification
- Knowledge of x-ray equipment, radiation physics, radiation safety, medical terminology and departmental protocols.
- Knowledge of MQSA/FDA mammography federal regulations and requirements.
- Basic understanding of Infection Control.
