Strategic Planner

Overview

Description:

The role focuses on short-term or long-term business direction, goals, processes, and purchases. General Analysis: provide research and analytical support for strategic initiatives and special projects. Work independently to design and lead research projects related to market trends, consumer profiles, and competitive intelligence. Direct and execute analysis and due diligence for new business opportunities. Strategic Business Planning Process: coordinate planning process milestones and deliverables.

Work with Global Finance and planning entities to prepare for quarterly checkpoints and strategic retreats. Support planning entities in the development of strategic plans, ensuring alignment with corporate strategic objectives. Project Management: provide project management support to cross-functional teams and other special projects of strategic importance to growth and profitability.

• Lead and coordinate strategic planning processes, milestones, and deliverables; collaborate with Global Finance and planning entities for quarterly checkpoints and strategic retreats.
• Provide independent design and leadership of research projects on market trends, consumer profiles, and competitive intelligence; conduct due diligence for new business opportunities.
• Support cross-functional teams on projects of strategic importance to growth and profitability.
• Develop and communicate integrated growth plans and future strategies; diagnose results and prioritize actions; help leaders communicate strategies and establish KPIs.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years in corporate strategy, management consulting, or investment banking.
• Experience in apparel/footwear, retail, merchandising, or consumer-facing industries; understanding of the competitive landscape and retail marketplace.
• Proven ability to lead sophisticated strategic projects; strong problem-solving, information gathering, option generation, and decision-making skills.
• Cross-functional leadership experience; proficiency in business storytelling and presentation tools (e.g., Keynote).
• Bias toward action; ability to work in ambiguous environments and manage complexity and adversity; strong interpersonal relationships.
• Curiosity and growth orientation.
