Entry Level Assembler

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler for our day shift operations. The primary responsibility is to perform full product builds of sensors using pre-fabricated materials, following detailed written instructions. This position operates in a calm, quiet, and spacious shop environment, ensuring comfort and efficiency.

• Read and follow iPad work instructions.
• Perform mechanical assembly of product shells and boxes.
• Conduct soldering and wire bonding tasks.
• Package finished products for shipment.
• Utilize small hand tools and power tools effectively.
• Collaborate well within a team environment.
• Adhere strictly to production safety standards.

• Proven production experience.
• Proficiency in using hand tools.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions in English.
• Capability to stand for the entire shift.

• Experience in small parts assembly is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic assembly and soldering.
• Experience with SMT Machine Operation is a plus.

This position is based in a line-based production facility that is exceptionally clean and organized. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with occasional shifts starting at 5:00 am and potential Saturday hours. The work environment is collaborative, encouraging a strong team dynamic, and offers a mix of seated and standing workstations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beaverton, OR.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
