The Volunteer provides administrative/non‑clinical support to the Clinical Services Teams.
Responsibilities- Assist with light office work, including sorting, scanning, and filing documents.
- Assemble mailings.
- Copy, sort, and distribute materials.
- Sort items and organize workspace.
- Assist in sorting/organizing clothing closets.
- Assist in putting together client resources such as hygiene kits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Interest in/passion for Life Works NW mission.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Working knowledge of image scanner and copier.
- Effective communication skills and ability to maintain a cooperative working relationship with others in a culturally diverse environment.
- Ability to perform essential functions of job without creating a direct threat to the safety of self or others.
- Driving is not required for this volunteer position.
Life Works NW is a private, non‑profit organization providing prevention, mental health, substance use treatment, and related social services to youths, adults, and older adults in over fifteen locations throughout Multnomah, Washington, and Clackamas counties. Life Works NW promotes a healthy community by providing quality and culturally responsive mental health and addiction services across the lifespan.
