Medication Technician – Swing Shift
Location:
The Springs Living, LLC – Murrayhill

Responsibilities- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Monitor, document, and report changes in residents’ health or behavior
- Perform delegated tasks such as blood sugar testing or insulin administration (as assigned)
- Maintain proper storage and management of medications
- Take and record vital signs
- Communicate with nurses, physicians, and pharmacies to ensure continuity of care
- Act as a leader and point person during your shift, including responding to emergencies
- Maintain a clean, organized medication room and accurate documentation
- Collaborate closely with caregivers and other team members to support resident well‑being
- Swing Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm, Sunday to Thursday
- Minimum age 18
- Previous experience in a Med Tech role
- Passion for serving seniors and making a difference every day
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Familiarity with EMAR systems
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand or walk up to eight hours per day
- Must be able to lift/push up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift, stand, bend, squat, crawl, reach, and kneel using good body mechanics for sustained periods of time
