Schedule: Full Time/Days
Location: Providence Home Services – Oregon. Supports Hillsboro, Newburg, Tigard and surrounding area.
Responsibilities: The Wound Ostomy RN is accountable for direct and indirect quality care for patients of all ages, according to the individualized needs of the patient, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Accepts professional development as an integral part of nursing practice. - Bachelor's Degree – graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Completion of an accredited course in Wound, Ostomy and Continence.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- Certification as an Enterostomal Therapist by the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board within 90 days of hire.
- 2 years of nursing experience.
- 1 year of home‑care experience (prior to or upon certification as an Enterostomal Therapist).
