THE JOB

As a Senior, Retail Experience Development, you will be embedded with our client partners in Beaverton, OR, supporting strategic, tactical, and operational initiatives. You’ll play a key role in developing and executing retail elevation strategies across consumer experiences both in‑store and online, with a specialized focus on account partners. This role blends retail experience, operational excellence, strategic thinking, and creative problem‑solving in a fast‑paced environment.

In This Role, You Will
  • Develop and execute retail elevation strategies for the Nike consumer experience online and in‑store with strategic wholesale partners.
  • Partner with marketing‑focused teams to bring seasonal and seasonless initiatives to life for Running, Soccer, and lifestyle footwear and apparel.
  • Research shopping behaviors, pilot new retail concepts, scale proven concepts, and collaborate with digital & service teams to bring the Brand to life in our doors.
  • Align strategy with the organization’s priorities.
  • Obsess the consumer and share insights across our partner’s retail ecosystem.
  • Apply retail excellence principles to drive seasonal and seasonless initiatives.
  • Translate consumer insights into actionable journey experiences.
  • Lead ideation and creation of marketplace‑ready experiences.
  • Foster a test‑and‑learn approach with multiple internal teams.
  • Ensure initiatives are KPI‑driven and track progress toward success.
As For Experience, You Need
  • 5+ years of experience across marketing, retail operations, digital marketing, and/or digital UX.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills for driving complex initiatives.
  • Strong retail background and a desire to build the brand’s retail presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and align stakeholders around strategic priorities.
  • Deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, retail operations, and the end‑to‑end consumer experience lifecycle.
  • Proven experience developing integrated retail marketing strategies across in‑store and digital environments.
  • Knowledge of the local market from a consumer and retail lens.
  • Passion for sport, culture, and fashion.
  • Confidence to launch from day one with a short learning curve.
  • Interest in trends within running, soccer, or sportswear culture.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Standard office equipment, computers, and related technology.
  • Extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and computer mouse use.
  • Bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasional travel.
  • Hybrid model: remote two days/week and on‑site three days/week.
  • Priority for candidates based in the Portland Metro area.
