Step into a pivotal role where your expertise will directly influence how products reach consumers across a vast geographic region. As a Strategic Planning Professional, you will be at the heart of ensuring the right product is available at the right time, leveraging data-driven insights and strategic thinking to shape a smarter, more connected value chain. Your contributions will directly impact revenue maximization, margin growth, and inventory optimization for a key product segment, helping to elevate the brand's mission and serve its diverse consumer base.

What

You'll Contribute:
  • Developing and finalizing pre‑season assortment plans at detailed product levels to maximize revenue, drive margin, and optimize inventory.
  • Providing comprehensive seasonal analysis based on actual sales results to inform future financial planning and strategic decisions.
  • Leveraging advanced analytics, technology, and cross‑functional input to develop long‑range, product‑based sales and inventory forecasts for various internal teams.
  • Creating and managing monthly stock and sales plans for key products, offering crucial inventory outlooks to guide buying decisions.
  • Collaborating closely with internal business partners to proactively identify risks and opportunities that could impact long‑term planning objectives.
  • Partnering with merchandising teams to design compelling assortments that best serve consumers.
  • Fostering a continuous improvement mindset to optimise end‑to‑end processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead change, act with courage, and cultivate innovation within a dynamic planning team. You will be an objective partner, driving fact‑based decisions and leveraging market insights to inform demand and inventory forecasts, ultimately shaping the brand's marketplace success.

Must‑Have

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in buying, planning, allocation, or vendor sales within a multi‑store retail environment, or equivalent assortment planning experience with leading apparel and footwear wholesale organisations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a multi‑store retail or wholesale apparel/footwear environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of retail math, including gross margin profitability planning.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate and influence others, with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with high proficiency in Excel (including creating spreadsheets, advanced formulas, and pivot tables).
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
Nice‑to‑Have

Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors, and retail trends; knowledge of the sports apparel market is preferred.
  • A track record of actively listening and contributing to advancing discussions within a team environment.
