Selling Sales Manager

Our client is seeking a results-driven and creative Catering Sales Manager to spearhead their catering division in Portland
. This role is responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and ensuring the flawless execution of catering events, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, design custom menus, and coordinate with the culinary and operations teams to deliver exceptional catering experiences that reflect the brand's quality and service standards.

• Generate leads and develop new business opportunities within the corporate, social, and private event markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their event requirements and preferences.
• Develop customized proposals, menus, and event plans tailored to client needs and budgets.
• Negotiate contracts, secure bookings, and manage the event sales pipeline effectively.
• Collaborate closely with the culinary team and event staff to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
• Achieve and exceed annual sales targets for catering revenue.

• Proven experience (3+ years) in catering sales, event sales, or a related hospitality sales role.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals and managing a client portfolio.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of menu planning, event logistics, and food service operations.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
