Sr. Software Quality Engineer

As an Engineer in the Quality Engineering organization, your primary role will be to execute and improve test engineering approaches, technology, and team capabilities. You will actively participate in an Agile Squad focused on building test automation to support an automated build delivery pipeline. Experience with contemporary testing techniques and tools is required, along with a fundamental understanding of when to write unit, functional, and end-to-end tests.

You will also help improve standards and build accountability within the Consumer Digital Technology Organization.

Experience

Required:

• 2+ years of Java programming experience
• 2+ years of experience with tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Calabash, Gradle, GIT, Stash, Asgard, and Gatling
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Familiarity with Netflix OSS, No
  
  SQL, microservices, Splunk, production monitoring systems, Jetty, Sonar, Docker, and JBoss
• Experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms in computer science

Skills and

Certifications:

Ideal Candidate:

Should have experience and understanding of modern testing techniques and tools, and know when to write unit, functional, and end-to-end tests. The candidate will help improve standards and foster accountability within the organization. Preference for candidates who have worked at Amazon, Netflix, or Apple.
