The Shuttle Driver/Tour Guide is responsible for following safety protocol, schedules, and pre-determined routes. The driver acts as the tour guide throughout the trip. The shuttle holds 62 passengers, is electric, and runs off batteries. The vehicle used is open air and tows a trailer through narrow roadways.

• Exceptional attendance and punctuality.
• Accurately complete vehicle safety checks and report any issues.
• Comply with all traffic laws and federal and state transit regulations.
• Interact with customers and our central dispatch team and managers in a professional manner.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to all riders, answering questions about schedules, routes, transfer points, and delays.
• Promptly report vehicle maintenance, road and route concerns, accidents, and other traffic disruptions using two-way radios or hands-free devices.
• Plug and charge the vehicles at the end of day.

• Use route navigation apps and other technology to pick up and drop off customers.
• Maintain electronic logs to track routes and incidents.
• Safely operate the vehicle without a break for a minimum period of one hour and forty-five minutes.
• Drive in fluctuating weather and terrain.
• Flexible schedule to work outside of regular days and shifts.
• Work a split shift schedule.
• Lift 45 pounds or more to assist with loading and unloading ADA passengers.

Hard Requirements:

• Commercial driver’s license (Class A or
  
  B).
• Pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.

Preferred Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of driving experience.
