Deliver Groceries to Homebound Seniors – West Side (Immediate Openings)
Join Store to Door PDX and help seniors and people with disabilities maintain their independence as a volunteer driver. Store to Door, founded in 1989, provides weekly personalized, low‑cost grocery shopping and delivery for seniors and individuals with disabilities. You will pick up pre‑shopped groceries from Beaverton Fred Meyer and deliver them to clients in the West Side area.
Responsibilities- Pick up groceries each week on Wednesday or Thursday between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
- Deliver orders to homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Assist clients with unloading and ensuring items are stored properly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Background check required.
- Own vehicle with mileage reimbursed at $0.58 per mile.
- Commitment to weekly volunteer service.
- Immediate volunteer openings.
- Short, rewarding weekly appointments.
- Complete training provided.
