Pure are proud to be exclusively supporting a longstanding and highly reputable manufacturing business in their search for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity within an organisation recognised for innovation, safety, and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on automated and semi-automated production machinery
- Diagnose faults across electrical and mechanical systems using schematics, PLC interfaces and diagnostic tools
- Support continuous improvement projects, equipment upgrades and refurbishment activities
- Ensure full compliance with BRC, 6S, and site health & safety standards
- Accurately document maintenance tasks and provide technical updates to engineering leadership
- Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), or equivalent.
- Proven background in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Strong capability in one core discipline with working knowledge of the other
- Understanding of control systems, drives, actuators, sensors, automation and related technologies
- A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to working safely
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
