About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Senior Care Assistants to support a well-established care home in Eccles, East Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents.

Lead and support care teams during shifts, ensuring care plans are followed.

Administer and record medication where appropriately trained and authorised.

Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report any changes or concerns promptly.

Support with personal care, mobility, nutrition and hydration.

Complete accurate care documentation and daily records.

Promote residents’ dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing.

Assist with handovers and communicate effectively with colleagues, residents and families.

Support junior care staff and provide guidance during shifts.

Follow safeguarding, health and safety and infection-control procedures.

About You

We are looking for Senior Care Assistants who are:

Experienced within a residential or nursing care home environment is essential

Confident leading a team and taking responsibility during a shift.

Compassionate, reliable and professional.

Able to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.

Comfortable working independently and using initiative.

Committed to delivering excellent standards of care.

Available for a range of agency shifts, including weekends and nights where required.

What We Offer
