Hales Group are recruiting for an experienced CNC Toolmaker to join a leading manufacturing business in Beccles. This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled Toolroom team, manufacturing and maintaining precision tooling that supports a busy production environment.

Working within the Toolroom, you'll manufacture new tooling, maintain existing tooling and provide engineering support to production areas. You'll use a variety of machining equipment, including CNC machinery, to produce high-quality components and ensure tooling remains in optimum condition.

Key responsibilities  
Manufacture new tooling and ancillary components
Maintain, repair and modify existing tooling
Operate CNC milling and turning machinery
Work from engineering drawings and specifications
Provide engineering support to production teams
Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement  What we're looking for  
NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (or equivalent)
Proven experience within a machining, toolmaking or engineering environment
CNC machining experience
Milling and turning skills
Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills  Desirable:

Experience with Hurco and/or Fanuc control systems
Previous Toolmaking experience  Progression & flexibility
This role is ideally suited to an experienced CNC Toolmaker. However, candidates with a strong CNC machining, precision engineering or toolroom background who can demonstrate the required technical skills will also be considered.
