The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll be responsible for machine set-up, tool changes, fault finding and quality inspections to ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.

You'll become a key member of the production team, helping to minimise downtime, maintain quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out machine set-ups and tool changes
  • Diagnose and resolve machine faults and production issues
  • Raise maintenance requests and report equipment concerns
  • Complete routine quality and safety inspections
  • Conduct visual and functional product checks
  • Perform colour changes in accordance with operating procedures
  • Implement corrective actions to resolve quality concerns
  • Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently
  • Support continuous improvement projects and initiatives
About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • A Level 2 qualification in Engineering, Vehicle Maintenance or a similar discipline
  • Experience working within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem-solving and fault-finding ability
  • A proactive and hands‑on approach to work
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement
