We are working with a well-established food manufacturing business to recruit a site-based Environmental Coordinator for a permanent position at one of their flagship UK operations.

• Take responsibility for the environmental function at the site following the departure of the previous post-holder.
• Serve as the sole Environmental representative on site, working closely with onsite Health & Safety and operational teams including Engineering, Hygiene, and Production.
• Lead on-site environmental matters, ensuring ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and liaise with interim HSE resources and external environmental consultancy to maintain audit standards.

• Environmental or Sustainability graduates (BSc or similar) with limited industry experience, or
• Candidates with prior environmental experience gained within manufacturing, industrial, or regulated environments.
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of environmental matters on site.

• Fully site-based (5 days per week)
• 40 hours per week
• Typical hours: 8:00am–4:30pm with a 30‑minute lunch
• Reasonable flexibility on start and finish times
