Mechanical Engineer – Mechanical Design, FEA, Industrial Equipment, Project Engineering
Base pay range: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year

- Develop mechanical system design solutions using sound engineering principles
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers
- Resolve operational and design‑related project issues involving cost, schedules, and performance
- Participate actively in project teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure all design work meets applicable standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
- Support pre‑sales engineering including concept evaluation and costing
- Interpret client requirements, define design parameters, and create viable design concepts
- Maintain proper design documentation and technical files
- Analyze project requirements and perform engineering calculations (including FEA)
- Produce 2D and 3D mechanical designs using AutoCAD Mechanical and Autodesk Inventor
- Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for assemblies, systems, and components
- Specify mechanical equipment, purchased components, and materials
- Complete cost estimates for materials, parts, and design solutions
- Ensure final designs support manufacturability, serviceability, and structural performance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required)
- Minimum 3–5 years in mechanical design, engineering, or equipment‑related projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Mechanical (2D), Autodesk Inventor (3D), and MS Office
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and structural design
- Experience performing FEA and engineering calculations
- BOM creation and supplier specification experience
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical/operational challenges within cost and schedule targets
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills
