Raleigh General Hospital is hiring a Nursing Director (RN) – Cardiovascular Services / Cath Lab to provide strategic and operational leadership across the cardiovascular service line.

This leadership role is responsible for driving clinical excellence, financial performance, patient outcomes, and staff engagement across ambulatory, acute, and post-acute care settings.

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the Cardiovascular Services department
• Develop and execute strategic plans for service line growth and quality improvement
• Drive improvements in patient outcomes, cost efficiency, and patient satisfaction
• Design and implement innovative cardiovascular programs and care models
• Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and executive leadership
• Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and resource allocation
• Recruit, mentor, and develop perioperative and cardiovascular nursing staff
• Ensure staff competency, ongoing education, and adherence to clinical standards
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care

• Education & License
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Active West Virginia RN license (or eligible for licensure)
• Experience
  • 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in Cardiovascular Services
  • Strong background in Cath Lab, CV Services, or Acute Care leadership
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary clinical teams
  • Hands‑on experience with budgeting and financial management
• Certifications
  • BLS required
  • ACLS required (or obtained within defined timeframe)

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder collaboration abilities
