Overview
Social Worker - Part Time )
Description Provides direct services to patients and their families, helping them with the problems created by illness and hospitalization.
Qualifications- Masters’ Degree in Social Work preferred
- Appropriate current WV Board of Social Work licensure or those individuals with a temporary permit must schedule to take the first available licensure exam following graduation. Should the individual not pass the exam they can continue to work with a temporary license until the next available licensure exam which they will need to schedule to take, however if they do not pass the second exam, termination will occur.
- BLS Healthcare Provider Course
- One year experience in hospital social work preferred. Knowledge of community agencies and social services resources
