DescriptionDescription Performs a variety of cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and special procedures or duties as assigned. May be assigned orientation and inservice education responsibilities. Carries out assigned duties and responsibilities according to policies and procedures approved by the Medical Director for Cardiopulmonary Services.
QualificationsMinimum of an Associate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Bachelor of Science preferred.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist by the National Board of Cardiovascular Technology; preferred; or one year experience performing echo cardiographic or vascular studies.
