American Traveler is hiring a Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room, requiring 2+ years of experience and NBSTSA certification, with vascular-heavy caseload.

• Operating Room setting with 7 OR rooms
• Patient population includes all ages
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Specialties include General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and Da Vinci Robot procedures
• Equipment includes Zeiss microscope, Aquablation, Holmium laser, total joints, ortho spine instrumentation, and Da Vinci robot
• EHR system is Meditech
• Shift runs 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Every other weekend required with potential for additional coverage
• On-call requirements include 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
• May be assigned to both the Main OR and the Raleigh Medical Complex (ASC)
• Interdepartmental floating required

• BLS and NBSTSA certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
• Training required in General, GYN, Vascular, Ortho, Urology, Podiatry, and Da Vinci Robot specialties
• CST certification preferred
• Certification/licensure required to work as a CST in WV, if applicable
• Collaborative personality with effective communication skills

• Facility is a Level 3 trauma center accredited by the Joint Commission
• Offers a wide range of surgical services including da Vinci Robotic Surgery, Spine, Orthopaedic, Vascular, Thoracic, Interventional Pain Management, Interventional Cardiology, Gynecological, General, Oral, Urological, Eye, and Trauma/Emergency Services
• Scrubs supplied by hospital with standard OR attire required
• Casual wear and other facility-branded attire not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
