Responsibilities- The Advanced Practice Wound Provider reports to the Director of Clinical Practice and/or the Area Clinical Practice Manager.
- Collaborates on‑site with the Center Leadership Team for center‑specific goals and priorities.
- Works with the Medical Director and/or Attending Physician for patient‑specific medical care.
- Provides acute and chronic wound care services to nursing center residents in collaboration with other medical providers in the center.
- Supports the Center’s mission of improving lives through high‑quality health care and compassion.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing program, licensed as a registered nurse.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and concentration/specialty in Older Adult and/or Family Nurse Practitioner. Other concentrations considered based on experience and business need.
- Wound certification (CWS, WOCN, or equivalent) or actively pursuing such certification with APN wound experience.
- Minimum two years of wound care experience with adult or geriatric population preferred.
- Unrestricted APRN license and DEA registration for each state of practice; PA license and DEA registration similarly for physicians.
- Comprehensive 90‑day training program and continued support.
