Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with at least 2 years of recent ICU/CCU experience and a WV or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Position is in the ICU/CCU unit of a hospital setting
- Patient ratio is 1:2/3, subject to fluctuation based on census and staffing
- Night shift, 19:00-07:30, with a 36/48 hour alternating weekly schedule
- Meditech EMR is used in this unit
- Bi-weekly orientation is provided
- Travel pairs are not accepted unless there are extenuating circumstances based on unit needs
- Holiday and weekend shifts may be required depending on scheduling needs
- Professional attire and adherence to unit’s dress code are expected
- No local candidates are accepted due to the 100 mile radius rule
- Active WV or compact state RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or CCU experience required
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale required
- Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
