Commercial Service Technician - HVAC

Casto Technical Services is a locally owned and operated, family business with over 60 years of experience serving building owners and operators.

We are looking for candidates who want a challenging career in the HVAC industry including Service, BAS controls, Energy Services, and Mechanical trades.

We offer our technicians the convenience of dispatching from their homes with an assigned company van. Valid Driver's License is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safety – Practice excellent safety procedures and hold fellow associates accountable.
• Plan, manage, and schedule time effectively, working with assigned coordinator.
• Professionally and effectively complete each job, preventive maintenance inspection, or day’s work. Report status to customers and communicate job and contract progress to customers daily or regularly.
• Manage jobs and contract work to meet or beat job completion dates and estimated costs.
• Submit leads for repairs, contract adds, contracting projects, etc.

• Follow up on emergency service calls.
• Follow up on customer e‑mail, fax, and voice mail.
• Follow up on all service calls.
• Create customer quotes.
• Flexibility for on‑call rotation that may require overtime or weekend work.

• Technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning and 3 years related experience; or 5 years related experience or equivalent of education and experience.
• Computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent written/oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of commonly‑used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

• Valid Driver’s License.
• EPA Certification.

HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Electrical, Plumbers, or Gas Installer.
