About this Role

Taylor's Construction is seeking an experienced Splicing Superintendent to oversee fiber optic splicing operations for West Virginia in both aerial and underground environments. This role leads splicing crews, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards, and manages schedules for large-scale telecommunications projects.

What You'll Do

* Supervise fiber optic splicing crews across multiple job sites.

* Review splice diagrams, oversee testing, and verify signal continuity.

* Plan daily work assignments and ensure compliance with project requirements.

* Coordinate with project managers and clients to resolve issues and update progress.

* Track material usage, production metrics, and prepare reports.

What You'll Bring

* 5+ years of experience in fiber optic splicing with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

* Knowledge of splicing tools, testing equipment, and telecom documentation standards.

* Ability to interpret splice diagrams, route maps, and engineering drawings.

* Strong leadership and communication skills.

* Willingness to travel and work outdoors in all conditions
