Night Hygiene Operative - Food Production

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy food preparation team within a thriving food manufacturing facility. You'll be working on a fast moving production line, playing a vital role in delivering high quality food products while maintaining exceptional standards of hygiene and safety.

• Based in Bedale
• Working Pattern: 4 days on 2 days off
• Hours: 6pm - 6am (approx. 40 hours per week)
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays),
  free lunch provided daily,
  free on-site parking
  , full PPE provided

• Cleaning production areas by using the correct chemicals and equipment according to the Cleaning Instruction Cards, this can include ceilings, higher & lower walls, bowl choppers, electrical sockets & panels, recipe scales and hand sinks.
• Ensure that the Chemical Control Produre (CCP) is adhered to including COSHH Regulations 2002.
• Ensure that dilution of chemicals is in line with the Calculating Cleaning Chemical Concentrations Procedure.
• Abide by the Hygiene and Housekeeping Procedure to ensure all production areas / machinery and staff communal areas are maintained to a high hygiene standards.
• Responsible for completing the following:
  • Daily cleaning schedule and record
  • Weekly cleaning schedule
  • Annual cleaning schedule and record
  • Blue dolavs cleaning schedule and record
  • Signing off the hygiene verification

• Previous experience in a hygiene role in a busy FMCG business.
• A keen attention to detail, working to the highest standards of hygiene.
• Working knowledge of and experience in Chemical Control.
• Flexible approach to work and open to working additional hours during peak production periods.
• Driving licence
• Due to the nature of this role, candidates must have a permanent Right to Work in the UK, residing within a commutable distance to Bedale. Please note, our client cannot offer visa sponsorship for this position.
• Please note: This is a physically demanding role requiring a high level of attention to cleanliness, quality, and hygiene.
• Experience in a Hygiene role within a food manufacturer, and training in COSHH or other Health and Safety related controls would be beneficial but not necessary.
