Data Lineage Analyst

Join the Data Shared Services team as a Data Lineage Analyst in Bedford, Canada. This full-time role focuses on documenting data lineage and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

The Analyst will be responsible for capturing critical data elements from their source to consumption, ensuring data accuracy through effective documentation. Your ability to communicate with both business and technology staff will help streamline data lineage understanding, reporting standards, and optimization processes. This role requires collaboration with Data Management Offices to enhance data governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document lineage of Critical Data Elements accurately

• Collaborate with Data Management Offices to define reporting standards

• Leverage existing data lineage artifacts to avoid duplication

• Identify options for optimizing data lineage capture

• Support the development of Data Lineage practices

Requirements:

• 1-2 years in data management or analysis

• Post-Secondary education in Finance or Data Analysis

• Experience with SQL, Python, and data manipulation tools

• Knowledge of SOX controls and compliance

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
