Distribution and Collections Supervisor

Lead municipal water and wastewater operations as the Supervisor of Distribution and Collections. Oversee crews and infrastructure with a focus on compliance and safety for Halifax Water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign work and supervise crews for water management

• Ensure adherence to operational regulations and guidelines

• Navigate SCADA systems for timely troubleshooting

• Administer capital programs and asset management plans

• Investigate public work requests and manage on-site contractors

Requirements:

• Two-year post-secondary education in relevant field

• Seven years of wastewater and stormwater experience

• Level II Wastewater Collection Certification required

• Valid NS driver’s license and safety training engagement

• Strong communication skills for public interactions
