We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Lot Attendant to join our Halifax dealership.
The Lot Attendant plays a key role in maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient lot for both the Sales and Service departments.
Job Responsibilities
Safely operate forklift and or tow vehiclesMove motorhomes, trailers, and campers and keep the lot organizedMaintain a safe and efficient lot for the Sales departmentEnsure slides, jacks, and compartment doors are secured before moving unitsAssist with the flow of RVs in and out of the shopDistribute and stage RVs in service bays and the service lotKeep lot free of debris, dirt, and mudEnsure customer parking areas are always availableDeliver units to off site repair facilitiesPick up and deliver customer units within the regionReport exterior building issues to the General ManagerReport any lot damage immediately with stock number and photosReport unit maintenance concerns or defects promptlyPerform other duties as assignedRequirements
High school education or equivalent experienceValid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driver’s abstractMust attach a copy of driver’s abstract with resumeValid Forklift Operator certification with experienceReliable transportation to workAble to work outdoors in all weather conditionsWilling to work evenings until 5:00 pm and Saturdays as scheduledStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCompensation: $21 to $23 per hour, based on relevant RV industry experience and qualifications.
