Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Assessment:
    Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess functional status, strengths, and limitations of patients across various settings, including physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional aspects.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation:
    Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, therapeutic goals, and patient preferences.
  • Patient Education and Training:
    Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the therapeutic process, adaptive strategies, and techniques to facilitate functional improvements.
  • Collaboration and Interdisciplinary Teamwork:
    Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care plans.
  • Progress Monitoring and Outcome Measurement:
    Continuously monitor patient progress, reassess goals, and modify treatment plans as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current license/certification in the state of practice.
