Regulatory Compliance Specialist, HR Generalist / Talent Management, Recruiter / Talent Acquisition
Tri-County Steel LLC (TCS) is a Special Forces veteran-owned small business located in Bedford, Indiana. We have been a trusted defense contractor supporting our industry and government partners for over 17 years, offering a wide variety of logistics, programmatic, and engineering support services. We are a results-oriented company focused on mission impacts, and we incorporate our company values into everything we do:
Service, People, Improvement, Excellence, & Solutions. Additionally, we are dedicated to the growth and development of our employees, providing opportunities for advancement and professional growth.
Job Summary
TCS is seeking an outgoing and organized HR and Administrative Associate to be the friendly, reliable face of TCS for more than 50 employees supporting NSWC Crane. This is an entry or associate level role working directly with our HR Director on human resources and back-office administration.
You will be the first person our employees call, the person who welcomes new hires and gets them onboarded, badged and ready to work, and the person who checks in with our teams at their work sites to see how they are doing. You will keep personnel, training and access records accurate, help with recruiting and community outreach, and route anything that needs a decision to the HR Director or Program Manager quickly.
The successful candidate genuinely enjoys people, is comfortable walking up to someone they have not met, keeps many small deadlines straight, handles confidential information with care, and follows through without being asked twice. This role is a strong start to a career in human resources, with room to grow as TCS grows.
