Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $47,000.00 Annually
Description of work and responsibilities- Receive and inspect material; verify quantities, identification, packaging condition and delivery documents.
- Validate and retain key supporting documents; record receipts and acceptance status in Navy ERP.
- Maintain order and shipment files; research delayed deliveries and support transportation, supply and quality discrepancy reports.
- Prepare shipment documentation, including DD Form 1149; coordinate pickup, provide shipment status and help resolve misrouted material.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, loading, inventory and disposal documentation, including matching material to turn-in records.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform the duties above and use applicable Government systems, SOPs and records controls.
- 1+ years of experience in a shipping and receiving role
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with inventory management software
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Must possess an active SECRET security clearance
