So what does a Tax Manager do at Sansiveri?As aTax Departmentmember, you will be responsible for managing staffand preparingtax compliance and advisory work for a diverse client base. You will work closely with
TaxStaff, Seniors,Supervisors, and Partners to ensure that clients’tax needs are met with the highest level of professionalism.
You will serve as a trusted advisorto clients, providing strategic tax guidance while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and entities (S and C corporations, partnerships, LLCs,trusts,etc.).
- Research tax issues and interpret tax laws and regulations to determine optimal client solutions.
- Collaborate with
TaxStaff,Seniors,Supervisors,Managers, and Partners on the preparation ofreports, presentations, and other tax–related documents. - Participate in firm–wide initiatives such as internal process improvement and training programs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients while maintaining and buildingboth existing and new relationships.
- Minimumof 6 years offederal andstateincometaxpreparationand review experience in public accountingfor
S and C corporations, partnerships, multi–state returns, high net worth individuals, and trusts. - Experience with tax planning for closely held businesses and their owners.
- Track record of training, developing, supervising, and mentoring staff while managing multiple engagement sand client relationships acrossa variety of industries simultaneously.
- Desire to take onadditional responsibilities and become a Partner.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA license required (MST degree preferred).
