Estimated $125,000 - $137,000 annually

Salaried SECURITY CLEARANCE: MUST have an active Secret security clearance Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Services Engineer to directly support the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD
* MUST have an active US Security Clearance RESPONSBILITIES:
The individual shall advise and support work that involves the planning, analysis, design, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats. Functions required to be performed by individuals in this specialty may include:
* Analyzing and recommending network requirements.
* Recommending and maintaining network architecture and infrastructure.
* Analyzing network workload.
* Monitoring network capacity and performance.
* Diagnosing and resolving network problems.
* Recommending network backup and recovery procedures.
* Installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading network operating systems software; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services. EPASS HN #CJ #LI-ST1 Air Force Air Force
