Development Engineer 3 – Millipore Sigma
We are looking for an experienced engineer to work on research and development projects focused on novel filtration technologies for therapeutic biopharmaceuticals. The candidate will apply proven scientific and engineering principles to complex projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Product Management, Sales, Quality, Procurement) to bring product concepts to commercialization. Travel 10‑30% domestically and internationally.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical Engineering, or Material Science & 5+ years of work experience.
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical Engineering, or Material Science & 4+ years of work experience.
- PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical Engineering, or Material Science.
- Strong technical leadership and project management skills.
- Experience with design of experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis methods.
- R&D or manufacturing experience in filtration device making.
- Experience with CAD design software such as Solid Works.
Pay Range: $80,400 – $140,300 per year. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, retirement contributions, and other perquisites. The position may be eligible for sales or performance‑based bonuses.
