SAP Analyst Programmer

Overview

Position details for a SAP/IT Systems role with responsibilities spanning business analysis, technical design, development, testing, user training, and compliance with security policies.

• Meets with users of assigned functional areas to discuss business needs and procedures; analyzes and generates functional specifications for information systems.
• Prepares technical design documentation based on analysis of business functions; designs program flow charts, data fields and database tables, and other required documentation.
• Programs modifications, new custom transactions, utilities and reports; conducts program tests and corrects any program errors.
• Performs system tests with supervision and lead computer users of the applications developed.
• Prepares end-user documentation; establishes training programs and provides training for users.
• Works with and guides the SQA Engineers for validating the developed programs.
• Ensures compliance with security policies for acquisition, design, development, operation, administration and maintenance of production systems, operating systems, networks, databases and related resources.
