Sr. Configuration Manager

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Senior Configuration Manager to work at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. Qualified candidates must have a Secret clearance.

• Oversee Configuration Management (CM) for all program artifacts, including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting
• Implement and manage CM plans, ensuring compliance and integrity of design baselines
• Convene and support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), recording approved changes and tracking Change Requests
• Support engineering assessments and maintain accurate documentation for audits
• Track and manage data deliverables, discrepancies, and problem reports
• Collaborate with program management, systems engineers, and quality managers to ensure alignment in an integrated product team environment
• Provide guidance on CM plans for software, hardware, and IT systems
• Maintain CM libraries and repositories, ensuring licensing, packaging, and delivery of software
• Audit IT system configurations and manage baselines, including updates and releases
• Prepare for and support major reviews and audits, including design reviews and technical interchange meetings
• Document findings, action items, and resolutions from assessments and reviews

Requirements:

• 10 years of work experience, and at least 5 years of experience supporting a DoD client
• Prior experience performing hardware and software configuration audits
• Must be equipped to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labeling
• Experience producing release notes and CM reports
• Understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the CCB, and change control documentation
• Prior experience developing briefings for management teams
• Possess an understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle
• Ability to enter and manipulate data in a database (i.e., Lifecycle Management Process, Microsoft Access, and SharePoint)
