focused on developing and optimizing formulations and manufacturing processes for oligonucleotide therapeutics, primarily in CNS and eye indications.
Responsibilities- conduct hands-on formulation work
- develop scalable processes from R&D to manufacturing
- perform physicochemical and biophysical characterization
- author technical and regulatory documents
- support equipment selection
- oversee process validation
- assist manufacturing operations
- PhD in Bio/Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 4+ years industry experience; or MSc with 6+ years; or BSc with 10+ years.
- Must have at least one year of experience in oligonucleotide or mRNA sterile drug product development.
- expertise in oligonucleotide conjugates, delivery routes (intrathecal, ocular, IV), analytical characterization (HPLC, LC-MS, DSC, etc.), bioconjugation chemistry, and high-throughput screening.
- expertise in oligonucleotide formulations, conjugates, and processes
- experience with ASO-peptide/antibody conjugates
- familiarity with regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, ICH)
Bedford, MA, transitioning to Waltham, MA; on-site role with ~10% travel.
