As a recent graduate working in software engineering or computer science, you will work with a team to apply your knowledge and gain experience with one or more of the following:
- Front‑end, back‑end, middleware, or full‑stack software development
- Artificial intelligence
- Cyber software
- Dev Sec Ops
- Mobile computing
- Embedded systems and Internet of Things
- Modeling and simulation
- Model‑based engineering
- Game theory and design/virtual reality
- Must have a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Hands‑on skills in at least one or more programming languages.
- Exposure to software development tools and frameworks, including source‑control management tools such as Git.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies.
- Sustained excellence in academic performance.
- Experience applying computer‑science learning in an internship or research/lab position.
- Knowledge of software design patterns.
- Knowledge of database technologies, including relational or No
SQL databases. - Demonstrated interest in serving the public.
In addition to passing MITRE’s employment background check, you may be submitted for a U.S. Government Security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship. Other positions may require additional vetting for agency public‑trust and special access determination.
Compensation$82,000 - $102,500 - $123,000 Annual
