OverviewTTC is seeking an exceptional Lead Engineer for the Command-and-Control Systems Engineering Technology (C2
SET) program. This position demands a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our software sustainment and development efforts within the realm of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5
ISR) Modeling and Simulation (M&S). The ideal candidate will possess a strong software development background, extensive experience in military operations and simulation training, and a proven track record in leading and managing technical teams.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities- Relevant experience in developing systems in C++, Python, Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM), Web Services, Database, and/or web application development.
- Architect, develop, secure, implement, test, and lead software sustainment and development teams within the C5
ISR M&S domain. - Leverage experience with cloud-based services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and RESTful architectures to enhance and support program objectives.
- Relevant experience in military mission planning, operations, and wargaming to ensure software solutions align with military requirements and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Utilize relevant experience in simulation training at various levels, specifically working with Air Operations Centers (AOCs), to support training and operational demands.
- Provide senior-level expertise in operational sustainment, maintenance, improvement, and migration of software code and functionality.
- Direct the design, update, and replacement of software, databases, simulations, algorithms, and more under the guidance of the C2
SET Government PM or M&S design lead. - Ensure integration and collaboration with M&S Government/Contractor software teams to achieve program goals.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in full stack development, agile development methodologies, and the creation of artifacts to support and expedite project development and delivery.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in software development across diverse systems including C++, Python, AFSIM, web services, databases, and web application development.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with cloud-based services like AWS and Microsoft Azure, along with RESTful architectures.
- At least 2 years' experience in military mission planning, operations, and wargaming.
- At least 2 years' relevant experience in simulation training, particularly with AOCs.
- Secret Security Clearance required.
- Proven capability in architecting, developing, securing, implementing, and leading C5
ISR M&S software projects. - Strong operational understanding and the ability to sustain, maintain, improve, and migrate software systems.
- Exceptional technical leadership and hands‑on experience with full stack and agile development.
- Proficiency in working collaboratively within Government and Contractor teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
