How You Make an ImpactResponsible for developing and managing sales and product activities in specific channels, supporting business objectives, leading acquisition, fostering customer retention, executing business development in target markets, providing sales support, and advancing brand building. You must commit to quality and drive change within the organization.
What Success Looks Like- Determine customers’ needs and gather market information.
- Interface with stakeholders, including clients, business development and engineering colleagues on customer requirements.
- Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and evaluating new product ideas.
- Drive new business development, create brand‑building strategies and identify potential market segments.
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, understanding pricing requirements, detailing market potential, and proposing sales options.
- Attend conferences and professional association meetings to promote Ferrotec's product solutions and brand.
- Provide short‑ and long‑term product sales forecasts to management.
- Maintain professional affiliations and current knowledge of the latest issues related to target industries.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business or related field and 5+ years of product and/or technical sales management experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external parties in various written and verbal settings.
- Proven effectiveness in prospecting and developing new business.
- Strong project‑management skills.
- Proven sales track record.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
