I and C Engineer - Intermediate (Data Centers)

Jacobs is looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to support projects that enable the heart of our clients' business across state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities. You will design and optimize control systems for data center processes, working with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver world‑class solutions.

• Develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, document and model design information.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
• Provide on‑site assistance during startup and support project schedule and technical quality.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
• Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS and other controls applications preferred.
• Experience working with Data Centers.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.

$69,500.00/yr – $95,500.00/yr

Any U.S. location; prefers candidates near a Jacobs U.S. office but open to the best nationwide.
