We are currently growing our design services and client base to support client and project needs in the Roadway/Transportation focus areas. We are seeking a team-focused, dynamic, innovative, results-oriented achiever for our expanding Civil Highway Group in Northern New England.
With over 138 years of experience, H&H is a trusted full-service infrastructure engineering firm, serving infrastructure owners, contractors, and colleagues. Our team manages the entire life cycle of projects, from study and planning through design and construction.
Responsibilities- Produce roadway/transportation designs for new or rehabilitation projects.
- Attend client project meetings, participate in proposals/presentations, and manage project tasks and timelines.
- Communicate and coordinate with design team members; manage, train, and mentor junior engineers in plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Manage project communication, schedule, budget, and progress on concurrent tasks.
- Assist in local marketing efforts, including proposal preparation, professional chapter meetings, and municipal functions.
- Five to fifteen years of relevant highway/interchange/roadway design experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer familiar with Maine
DOT and/or NHDOT Design Standards. - Drainage design experience preferred.
- Proficient in Micro Station V8i, Bentley InRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Detail and goal-oriented; self‑starter with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and manage small design groups and projects.
