Base pay range$90,000.00/yr - $/yr
My client is a premier antenna design, manufacturing and test house developing products used across all platforms in the aerospace industry including missions to Mars, the International Space Station and products fielded to the U.S. Military supporting the warfighter. In our over 50year history we have enjoyed steady, planned growth.
We are seeking an RF Engineer with experience in the design and development of antennas and their support equipment .Our core antenna technologies include, but are not limited to, stripline and microstrip. The individual will work closely with colleagues and customers to identify RF hardware requirements and create new designs as well as support customer proposals for new projects. We are seeking an engineer who will lead advances in existing technology and push new RF technology to help expand our product offerings.
Qualified engineers will lead design, performance verification and support fabrication.
Responsibilities:- Antenna design from initial concept through prototype development, production and test.
- Communicate with customers to determine operational requirements and create designs that meet or exceed those needs.
- Develop working relationships with customers to support business development.
- Develop test concepts and test procedures for RF and Environmental testing, including far field and near field measurements (vibration, shock, thermal and thermal vacuum are all done in house).
- Lead proposal and customer presentation creation, including technical design, cost and schedule management.
- Ability to develop task level requirements, derived from system level requirements.
- Manage multiple unique and custom projects.
- Some travel may be required.
- Hands on environment where engineers are involved in all aspects of antenna design, production and test including: business development, design, manufacture, test, and customer support.
- Work with top tier customers including large government contractors and government organizations.
- Support exciting aerospace programs – our antennas have been to Mars!
- Work with leading RF professionals who are well respected across the industry.
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, Masters or PhD preferred
- High-level expertise in HFSS, ADS, MATLAB (or similar antenna simulation tools)
- Ideally 1-7 years experience in circuit design and test of RF components
- U.S. citizenship required, must be able to obtain and maintain DoD SECRET clearance, existing clearance preferred.
