Customer Service Representative

Employer Industry: Moving and Transportation Services

• Pay range of $16-$20 per hour based on experience
• $100 hiring bonus and a $300 cash bonus upon completion of the U-Haul Equipment Inspection and Verification

• Assist customers with U-Haul products and services both inside and outside the center
• Utilize smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, and clean and inspect equipment
• Answer customer inquiries and educate them about products and services
• Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment; install hitches and trailer wiring

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training through U‑Haul University
• Availability to work in a moderately risky environment with safety precautions

• Previous experience in customer service or a related field
• Familiarity with U‑Haul products and services
• Certification in forklift operation (available through U‑Haul upon employment)
• Certification in propane filling (available through U‑Haul upon employment)
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to equipment handling
