Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation of overall market strategy, customer specific pricing, and promotional strategy including the development of AMPS and net unit cost guidelines.
  • Utilize elasticity-based modeling tools to identify optimal everyday pricing and promotional plans for key brands and pack groups.
  • Analyze external and internal promotional landscape on a monthly basis to inform and influence strategy.
  • Conduct top customer event-level ROI analysis and communicate insights and recommended action plans to leadership.
  • Consolidate and monitor compliance to everyday pricing, promotional frequency and depth, trade spending, and net unit cost guidelines at account level.
  • Lead the business unit in optimizing price pack architecture to balance affordability, profit, and category expansion.
  • Provide profitability assessment, optimization, and strategic assistance through pricing and promotion on an ongoing basis.
  • Work with Customer Strategy and Planning to facilitate and manage monthly P&L meetings with the Field Sales Teams.
  • Support the Sales Team and Customer Strategy and Planning in annual negotiations with top customers.
  • Partner with the Sales Team to optimize the promotional calendar to meet broader business strategy objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; preference for majors in Business, Finance, or Analytics.
  • 8+ years in CPG Revenue Growth Management, Trade Marketing, or Field Sales Leadership experience recommended.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team required.
  • Preferred certifications:
    Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Understanding of Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO), modeling tools, consumption/POS data, TPM, and forecasting tools recommended.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of customer needs, expectations, and financial motivators to develop and deliver sales plans.
  • Ability to develop breakthrough account plans and move from transactional supplier to strategic partner.
  • Knowledge of competitive brands, products, and manufacturers to build defense/offensive strategies.
  • Ability to build budgets, make forecasts, and propose corrective action and sales negotiation strategies.
  • Experience structuring and managing organization and supporting services to maximize customer opportunity.
  • Ability to assess customer opportunities, analyze competitor behavior, and interpret channel strategy.
  • Analytical skills to identify causes/effects and make effective decisions.
  • Ability to coordinate and pilot structured transition periods to achieve lasting change.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and clear communication skills to engage stakeholders.
