Overview

We are looking for a SWIM INSTRUCTOR/LIFEGUARD. We have an immediate need for all days; morning and event shifts, and we offer paid training. Full and Part Time positions are available.

Responsibilities

Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

Enforce safety rules and regulations; perform rescues and administer first aid when necessary.

Evaluate students’ progress and complete required paperwork promptly.

Interact with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress and development.

Represent the school professionally as a GSS ambassador to ensure parental satisfaction.

Use problem solving and creative thinking to address challenges that students encounter.

Inspect pool areas before and after classes; report maintenance, cleanliness, or damage issues to management.

Maintain and store all pool equipment properly and manage lane lines.

Report accidents and incidents to management; complete required documentation.

Perform Deck Teacher duties as needed.

Assist with light cleaning duties (e.g., window washing, deck mopping, trash removal) as required.

Attend required workshops and in-service training outside of regular hours.

Fulfills other duties as assigned by the Employer.

Qualifications

Ability to work with children
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Must pass background examinations (included with training)
CERTIFICATIONS:

Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification required; paid training for those not certified is provided.
