Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Bedford, Ohio

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site

We are a privately held organization with approximately $10 million in annual revenue. We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support the CFO and play a key role in strengthening the company’s accounting function. This position is ideal for a hands on accounting professional who is ready to take ownership of core accounting processes and grow into increased responsibility over time.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day to day accounting operations, month end close, and financial reporting. This is a hands on role that goes beyond bookkeeping and requires strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a growing organization.

The ideal candidate has three to five plus years of accounting experience and is motivated by a long term opportunity to expand into a leadership or controller track role.

• Perform and support full cycle accounting including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and cash management
• Assist with and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Ensure accurate account reconciliations and proper documentation
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist with internal controls and accounting process improvements
• Support audit preparation and work with external auditors as needed
• Provide financial data and analysis to support the CFO
• Assist with cost accounting and margin analysis preferred
• Work within and help optimize accounting systems;
  Net Suite experience is a strong plus
• Help move accounting from a transactional or bookkeeping focus to a more structured, scalable process

• Three to five plus years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
• Experience preparing financial statements and reconciliations
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent hands‑on experience
• Experience in a small to mid‑sized company environment

Salary range is $85,000 to $95,000 annually
, based on experience and qualifications. This range is competitive for Senior Accountant roles in the Northeast Ohio market.
